It may seem odd that this day in age, even to a teen, that wearing a seat belt would be a no-brainer. However, recently transportation departments have been conducting studies on teenage automobile deaths. Here is a recent news article about it from one of our local news outlets.
Teens have the lowest seat belt usage rate of any age group. In 2013, nearly 75 percent of all teens killed on Utah roads were not restrained, according to UDOT data.
